Earth Sciences: Geology

Full tuition fees.

Full residence and meals (or equivalent allowance).

Annual cash and book purchase allowance.

Compulsory annual salaried vacation employment during December and January.

Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of South Africa. 

Applicants should have strong interest in engineering or geology and intend to build a career within the mining industry as a technical or geological specialist or manager.

Applicants should be prepared to relocate to operations in rural areas if required.  

Current matriculants need to obtain university exemption and must obtain a minimum C symbol for mathematics and physical science (Higher grade) to be considered.

Current students should be registered for a course at university in one of the above-mentioned disciplines and should demonstrate a good academic discipline.
